Terms and Conditions – Win FREE Science Workshops for Primary Schools 

  • Eligibility 
    • The competition is open to primary schools located in the UK. 
    • Only one entry per school is permitted. 
    • Entries must be submitted by a representative of the school (e.g., teacher, administrator, or staff member). 
  • How to Enter 
    • To enter, complete the enquiry form on the ComputerXplorers website or through the provided competition link. 
    • Entries must be received by 00:01 21st February 2025. Late entries will not be considered. 
  • Prizes 
    • We are offering 10x 1.5-hour ComputerXplorers workshops, delivered during British Science Week 7-16 March. 
    • Workshops will be tailored to the primary school level and will celebrate British Science Week with engaging science and technology activities. 
  • Winner Selection 
    • Winners will be selected by judges from all eligible entries. 
    • The draw will take place on 24th, and winners will be notified by email no later than 25th February. 
    • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 5 days, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner may be selected. 
  • Workshop Delivery 
    • Workshops will be delivered by the local ComputerXplorers centre assigned to your school’s region – your school must be within an hour of a ComputerXplorers centre. 
    • Winners must liaise with their local centre to arrange the date and timing of the workshop during British Science Week. 
  • Publicity and Permissions 
    • By entering the competition, winners agree to allow ComputerXplorers to take photos and videos of the workshop for promotional purposes. 
    • These materials may be used on ComputerXplorers’ website, social media platforms, and other marketing channels. 
    • No personal details of students will be shared without prior written consent from the school. 
  • Data Protection 
    • Any personal information collected during the competition will be handled in accordance with ComputerXplorers’ Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties except for the purpose of administering the competition. 
  • General 
    • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. 
    • ComputerXplorers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. 
    • By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
